Scuba Santa and “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®” Return Nov. 23 to the Texas State Aquarium

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – On Friday, November 23, two holiday favorites – Scuba Santa and “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®” - will once again bring a festive feeling to guests at the Texas State Aquarium. Best of all, both Scuba Santa and showings of the “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®” are free with Aquarium admission or membership.
Beginning Friday, November 23 and on through December 24, Scuba Santa will plunge into the H-E-B Caribbean Sea exhibit for a unique encounter and festive photo op with guests. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to bring their camera or phone, and an Aquarium employee will be available to take their picture. Scuba Santa will appear November 23 – December 1 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and December 3 – December 24 at 11 a.m. and 3. p.m. On Christmas Eve (December 24), Scuba Santa will dive at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Scuba Santa will not dive on December 2.
Also starting November 23, the Whataburger 4-Dimension Theater at the Texas State Aquarium will reintroduce guests to the interactive film, “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®”, which will be screened daily throughout the holiday season. This innovative and exciting experience was designed by SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment in close collaboration with the Texas State Aquarium. “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®”, will run every hour on the half-hour, alternating showings of “Shark: A 4-D Experience®.” THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®” is distributed by SimEx-Iwerks, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, based on the film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Shangri-La Entertainment, and inspired by the beloved Caldecott Medal children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. “THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4-D Experience®” will run daily from November 23 through January 4, 2019.
