CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – On Saturday, May 17, the Aquarium will celebrate Armed Forces Day by offering FREE admission to all active or retired military personnel. The Board of Trustees and staff of the Texas State Aquarium are very grateful for all of the sacrifices these brave men and women have made and continue to make to protect our freedom, and we hope many of them will come as our guests on Armed Forces Day to enjoy a day at the Aquarium and our observation of Endangered Species Day.
Saturday, May 17 is also Endangered Species Day, which is a day to raise awareness about endangered and threatened species around the world. The Aquarium will be marking this important annual event with programs featuring special content about endangered and threatened species throughout the day.
A valid military identification or other proof of service must be shown to receive free admission on Saturday, May 17.
