The Amazon is the world's largest tropical rainforest! We will explore the four layers that make up Amazonia, and come face to face with an animal that calls the Amazon its home!

Join us for our guest speaker from Padre Island National Seashore and learn about the animals that live on Padre Island with a very special presentation!

Rainforests are the Earth's oldest living land-based ecosystems! Students will learn about different types of rainforests, native animal species, and why they are beneficial to humans. Build your own terrarium to take home!

Let's talk WHALES! Jump into the ocean as we uncover some of the world's largest marine mammals, and discover how they differ from fish.

The Texas General Land Office will be on hand to discuss oil spills in our state waters. They will demonstrate different techniques used to clean up oil spills and explain how animals and the environment are affected.

Test your engineering skills and build your own robot! Discover how people use robots to explore and uncover the deep oceans.

Dive thousands of feet below the surface to hunt for deep sea creatures where we will learnd how animals adapt to life in freezing temperatures, crushing pressure, and zero sunlight.

The Coastal Bend Council of Governments and Curby the Recycling Robot will be on hand to talk about how we impact our environment through our daily activities!

Hop in a canoe and paddle out to a wetland, where we will become biologists investigating different plants and animals found in wetland environments.

Learn about the interesting world of amphibians, frogs and toads, and get a firsthand look at what makes these animals so special!

Explore the microscopic building blocks of our oceans by constructing plankton nets, collecting samples, and examining differences between phytoplankton and zooplankton.

Back by popular demand, students will research living organisms from Corpus Christi Bay aboard a 57-foot floating classroom!
