Since the first cooking class held at the Texas State Aquarium over 20 years ago, the Sensational Sustainable Seafood program has set out to educate the public on the importance of purchasing sustainably harvested seafood - all while helping to promote our many wonderful local restaurants and seafood markets. Our program is held every second Tuesday of each month and features a cooking demonstration and sample tasting, as well as an informative discussion on the current state of seafood sustainability. Join us and learn how to properly select and prepare fresh, sustainable seafood and have an all-around great time! Our program is dedicated to keeping our guests informed on the latest information about the global demand on seafood.
