Summer SeaCamp
SeaCamp activities include tours, programs, animal encounters, fishing, and water activities. Younger children will enjoy arts & crafts and story times, while older children will engage in field experiences, go "behind the scenes" with animal care staff, and enjoy one overnight stay either at the Aquarium or a local wildlife conservation center.

Camp SeaStar introduces your child to the watery world of the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding area. Campers fish and have a wet and wild time through educational programs and hands-on activities with an emphasis on stingrays.

Camp SeaUrchin takes your child further into the Gulf of Mexico with activities focusing on the Jr. Angler Program and marine life. Water activities include canoeing in our SeaLab pond. Our experienced staff offers fun, hands-on projects and visits from guest speakers.

SeaHorse campers further "explore" our aquatic regions and go into the field for some wet and muddy fun! Outdoor activities include canoeing, kayaking, scavenger hunts, races, and wetland explorations.

Camp Voyager features more extensive behind-the-scenes activities at the Aquarium as well as an overnight stay at an offsite facility where campers will learn about a variety of ecosystems. Day trips to other local sites include hands-on investigations of water quality and wildlife observations. Campers also participate in aquatic activities such as kayaking and intro to SCUBA (does not include certification).

We've added a camp based on popular demand! Camp Aquanaut offers new activities at Welder Wildlife Refuge, an in-depth behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium with animal encounters, a surfing day at the beach, and a boat trip to learn more about the animals that reside in our waters.
